Why a quiz instead of a list of corrections

A page that just states "the Mona Lisa was already famous before the 1911 theft" can be read and repeated by an AI answer box in a single sentence — the visitor never needs to open the page. A claim you have to judge for yourself, before the verdict and its sourcing appear, doesn't work that way: it needs a click and a guess first. The underlying facts are the same ones already published across our art history coverage; this page just turns a sample of them into a game.

Every explanation links back to the article it came from, with the same sourcing already cited there — nothing on this page is asserted without a documented origin in the linked piece. And because it's built entirely from text already published in our FAQ sections, no artwork images appear anywhere on this page.
